My path into counselling, mindfulness and compassion practices began as a personal one, a conscious decision to bring more presence, balance, and self-kindness into my own life after experiences of trauma and low self worth. 
As a new parent and someone navigating these emotional and internal struggles  along with the pressures of a full workload, I turned to mindfulness as a way to find steadiness amidst the overwhelm. Through these practices, I discovered a gentler, more compassionate way of being with myself, which in turn transformed how I approached life’s challenges and the internal narrative I had of myself.

Experiencing this shift firsthand inspired me to share it with others. I trained in mindfulness and compassion-based approaches, not only to deepen my understanding but to support others in finding their own sense of ease and self-acceptance.

Having experienced my own struggles with mental health and identity, I know how difficult it can be to find joy in the everyday or to know when and how to reach out for support. My own therapeutic journey led me naturally towards creating Youful – a space built on safety, warmth, and inclusivity, where healing happens at your pace, in your own way.
